Bantawan Productions is proud to announce an extraordinary evening of fashion, artistry, and community impact featuring internationally celebrated designers Michael Cinco and Alexis Monsanto during New York Fashion Week 2026.
Presented as part of the Spring/Summer Collections—Third Season, the runway event will be held in collaboration with Art Hearts Fashion and co-produced by The Outstanding Filipino Awards (TOFA), the Queens People’s Movement (QPM), and Ladies for Rizal (LFR).
On September 12, 2026, fashion history will unfold in New York City as three Filipino-American organizations unite for “Couture Meets Compassion,” a breathtaking runway experience combining world-class haute couture with a meaningful community mission.
The evening will feature the visionary creations of two titans of international fashion: the globally acclaimed Michael Cinco and the highly respected Filipino-American designer Alexis Monsanto.
Known for his elaborate, dramatic, and meticulously crafted couture, Michael Cinco has dressed international celebrities and brought Filipino creativity to some of the world’s most prestigious stages. Alexis Monsanto brings his own celebrated design perspective to the runway, combining sophistication, artistry, and timeless elegance.
Together, their collections will transform the runway into an unforgettable celebration of Filipino excellence and global fashion.
Couture Meets Compassion is more than a fashion show—it is a movement with a mission.
Proceeds from the evening will help strengthen grassroots arts initiatives and support essential social-service programs serving communities throughout Queens, New York.
Every ticket purchased and every partnership formed will contribute to expanding access to the arts, empowering local communities, and supporting programs that respond to the needs of New Yorkers.
Adding public-service leadership and Filipino-American pride to the evening, New York’s first Filipino-American State Assemblymember, the Honorable Steven Raga, will take part in the production.
He will be joined on the runway by Lady Iris Capuno, the Philippine Independence Day Council’s Mrs. Kalayaan 2026, whose elegance and community involvement embody the spirit of the evening.
